I've noticed how much expression the human eye can invoke. Those tiny little muscles in that small area of your body can communicate so much. A subtle wink could give a whole new meaning to a spoken sentence. The locking of gazes could mean a shared secret or joke. Glancing at just the right moment could cause awkwardness or excitment between two people. Rolling them silently shows your boredom or apathy. Narrowing them shows disbelief. Someone who is uneasy, shy or flirtatious shifts their eyes down and to the side. Avoiding eye contact during conversation shows dishonesty and insincerity. Looking up and trying to hold back tears shows that they don't want to be perceived as vulnerable. Widening the eyes could mean surprise and shows a person you are listening. Don't even get me started on eyebrows.
How the eye looks physically also reveals personality and habits. Red eyes can mean you were up late. You can't hide you were crying when someone looks at your eyes. It shows whether or not you take care of your appearance. A certain eye color could make one person instantly attracted to another. For girls, you can see how much time they spend on themselves in the morning to put makeup on (in other words, you see what's important to them).
Communicating with my eyes is so much fun for me. It gets easier to communicate with your eyes to someone as you get to know them more. I really couldn't put into words all that I have discovered with eyes, but if you could look in mine right now I'm sure I could tell you.
