This is a movie I will never ever tire of watching. It is truly a showcase of brilliant acting in a movie that needs no special effects or exotic locations to be truly entertaining or thought provoking. All the tension comes from the actors and the great script.
I just finished watching this movie with Hilary, my sister, after I dyed her hair. She dyed it a lot darker. It's almost black, but I think it looks nice on her. I kind of wish I could dye my hair, but I don't want to deal with growing out my hair or anything. I wish that I was one of those girls who changes their hair color all the time. It seems like it would be such a fun thing to do. Mine always stays the same and to be honest, it's kind of boring.
Back to what I was thinking originally. I really wish Rebecca (Lloyd, my former drama teacher and director) would do twelve angry men some summer (It's a stage play too). I would really love to see it done on stage. I really can watch that movie any time of the day or week and never get tired of it or not want to see it. It is really a great movie/story! I wish that movie makers tried to make movies like that today. Maybe I'm seeing all the wrong movies. I haven't seen many movies that have great acting or tell a really good story like that. Even if the acting is really good it always seems that it is required to have a huge million dollar budget to go along with it and a whole bunch of unnecessary explosions etc. I don't know. Movies like 12 angry men really refresh my mind.
In other news, I can't wait until people start going on their Christmas breaks and people come home from college and everything. I really like being with friends and family around this time of year! I can't wait to give people presents. I've been so excited to give people their presents ever since I went to New York and got some things for my family. Bah! I want to give them now! I can't wait to cook on Christmas eve for my Mom's side of the family. I have a really good soup recipe that I'm excited to cook.
Well, tomorrow I go to work and I enjoyed my day off today. Having to work nearly full time has really given me an appreciation for my days off and the time I get to spend with my friends and family. Until next time, I'll stop writing disjointed and poorly written sentences that most likely have spelling errors in them. Bye.
