As of now.....

I have given my two weeks notice at Ruthaven. My Dad gave me his support (yay Dad). My Mom did not (boo). I don't want to write about it anymore.
Today I went to public health to get some vaccines for my trip to morocco. She conned me into having too many vaccines that are completely unnecessary. I ended up paying $203. Needless to say I am absolutely livid. That is too much money! I can't express my anger fully at this moment.
The best part was the trip on my way home. I had driven up alone and had no way of contacting someone if I needed help. I had worn my contacts too long (night shift does that to you, you don't know when to take 'em out) and they were very damaged and hurting. If you have ever had a damaged eye, you will know what I'm talking about. It is nearly paralyzing it hurts so much. I didn't help that the sun was aggravating them. Luckily I found a pair of my mom's sunglasses which kind of helped the sun problem. I swear just those glasses alone are the best form of birth control out there. Just ask me if you didn't get the joke.
But I digress
I was trying to get home as soon as I could because my eyes were driving me nuts. They were burning, stinging and it was hard for me to even keep them open. I had both windows and my sunroof wide open, I had my music blasting and at intersections I literally had to pry my eyes open to keep them from closing. I praying loudly out loud almost all the way on the highway. I first tried praying about others and every once and a while praying that he would keep my eyes open. Eventually it came down to "God, please keep my eyes open. Don't let me hurt anyone by getting into a crash" or some variation. I was able to get home with out getting in a crash. I must admit that my eyes did close for two seconds and that's where I switched to pretty much yelling to God out loud not to let my existence on earth become nothing, but a few bouquets on the side of the road with a memorial sign. A load of help those expensive vaccines would have been if I died in a car crash a few minutes after.
